TIMERGARA: The Forest Department officials recovered a large quantity of illegally stored timber during a late-night raid at a vacant house at Kambat area in Lower Dir on Thursday.

Acting on credible information, the forest officials carried out a timely and coordinated operation in the suburban locality of Kambat, in Jandool, and seized a significant number of illegal wooden sleepers.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of District Forest Officer (DFO) Syed Shabbir Jan. The joint raid was led by Sub-Divisional Forest Officer (SDFO) Jandool Muhammad Farzaad, along with assistant commissioner Samarbagh Muhammad Ayaz and local polThe officials also urged the public to report any suspicious or illegal activities related to forest resources to the authorities, so that timely and effective action can be taken.
