KOHAT: The Kohat Police released photographs and details of the alleged suspects involved in the murder of Doctor Mehwish Hasnain as the doctors and paramedical staff continued the protest at the killing in several hospitals of the district and in other parts of the southern belt.
According to police, the two suspects were wanted in connection with the case. They were identified as Hayat Gul, son of Razam Gul, a resident of Bypass Road, Gulshan Abad, Kohat, CNIC No: 14301-5377616-9 and Saif Ali Khan, son of Syed Khan, resident of Mohallah Garhi Behram Shah, Kohat, CNIC No: 14301-2120222-7
Kohat District Police Officer Shehbaz Elahi hoped the suspects would be arrested soon and assured that the family of late Dr Mehwish Hasnain will get justice.Meanwhile, doctors and paramedics in Kohat and other southern districts continued their protest for the fifth consecutive day on Wednesday against the killing of Doctor Mehwish Hasnain.
The medical community kept on boycotting Outpatient Department services at hospitals in Kohat, while only emergency services were provided to patients, said Medical Superintendent of District Headquarters Hospital Kohat, Dr. Tahir Ali Shah.
