COMSTECH announces 70 fellowships for Yemeni scholars

Islamabad: OIC-COMSTECH Coordinator General Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary along with H.E. Mohammed Motahar Alashabi, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen, and H.E. Salimullah TOIC-COMSTECH launched Phase III of the COMSTECH-CCoE Yemen Program at the COMSTECH Secretariat in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Islamabad and CCoE member institutions.

Prof. Choudhary announced 70 fellowships for Yemeni scholars, reaffirming COMSTECH’s commitment to strengthening scientific capacity and promoting academic collaboration across the OIC region.

He highlighted that the initiative serves as a platform for scientific diplomacy, enabling Yemeni researchers to benefit from advanced training and institutional partnerships. On the occasion, the university leadership assured their full cooperation in the effective implementation of Phase III of the program, reiterating their commitment to facilitating Yemeni scholars and strengthening academic linkages under this important initiative.
