Man injured in Gul-e-Rana blast dies, death toll rises to 16

A man who was injured in a recent blast that resulted in a building collapse in Gul-e-Rana Colony in Soldier Bazaar has succumbed to injuries, raising the death toll of the tragedy to 16. The deceased man was identified as 50-year-old Mohammad Shahid, son of Ghulam Rasool, who succumbed to injuries during treatment.

According to investigators, a gas leak resulted in a powerful explosion in the building in the morning hours of February 19, which caused the building to collapse. A total of 15 persons were declared dead on the day of the blast. After Shahid’s death, the death toll of the explosion has risen to 16.
