The director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Karachi Zone, Muntazir Mehdi, paid a surprise visit to Jinnah International Airport to review the operations of immigration counters and overall airport procedures.
Immigration Deputy Director Shahzad Akbar provided a briefing to him on the passenger clearance efficiency, modern working strategies and security protocols. Officials highlighted that passengers were being facilitated in a fast, transparent and professional manner, and no compromises were being made on security standards.
Mehdi praised the performance of the immigration staff, expressing satisfaction at their teamwork, discipline and professionalism. He commended the officers and personnel present on site and stated that safeguarding the passengers’ dignity while ensuring strict security was a top priority of the FIA.
