LAHORE : Partly cloudy weather with improved AQI continued to prevail in the city here on Saturday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
The average AQI was recorded in the city was 154, which was unhealthy while PM2.5 concentration was 11.9 times the World Health Organisation (WHO) annual PM2.5 guideline value.
Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly dry weather was expected in most parts of the country while daytime temperatures were expected to remain above normal.
Cold weather was expected in northern parts during night/morning. Saturday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dipped down to -07°C while in Lahore it was 18°C.
