MINGORA: District Police Officer Mohammad Umar Khan on Saturday suspended two police personnel following a viral social media post alleging abuse of a minor girl.
According to officials, the post claimed that two policemen, Sohail Ahmad and Akhtar, deployed at a hospital casualty unit had allegedly subjected a child to physical abuse. Taking immediate notice of the matter, the DPO ordered the suspension of both the cops and closed them to line.
Ordering probe into the matter, the DPO also appointed the DSP Administration as inquiry officer.
