LAHORE: The Pakistan women’s cricket team will begin their three-match ODI series against South Africa on Sunday (today), February 22, at the Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein. This marks Pakistan’s second ODI series against the Proteas in six months, adding further intensity to an already competitive rivalry.

The series will be broadcast live in Pakistan, with the first ODI starting at 1:00pm PKT. The fixtures are scheduled for February 22, 25, and March 1. The opening and closing matches will be played in the afternoon, while the second ODI at SuperSport Park, Centurion will be a day-night contest beginning at 4:00pm PKT.

Pakistan’s 15-member squad will be captained by Fatima Sana, while South Africa will be led by Laura Wolvaardt. The squad features one uncapped player, left-arm pacer Tasmia Rubab, who is poised to make her ODI debut.

Pakistan enter the series on a high, having secured a 53-run victory in the third T20I, a result that boosted morale and provided momentum heading into the longer format.
