ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan, Salem Muhammad Al Zaabi, has inaugurated a new document attestation facility operated by BLS International Services in the federal capital.

According to the UAE mission, the newly established centre will facilitate the attestation of documents by the UAE Embassy, providing efficient and streamlined services to Pakistani citizens intending to travel to the UAE for employment, business, education and other purposes.

Ambassador Salem Al Zaabi, speaking on the occasion, remarked that the launch of this facility reflects the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE. It underscores the UAE’s commitment to enhancing consular services and improving public service delivery for Pakistani nationals.

The UAE envoy emphasised that the initiative will significantly reduce processing times, enhance convenience, and ensure greater transparency and efficiency in document attestation procedures, facilitating smoother travel arrangements for Pakistanis travelling to the Emirates.

He appreciated the cooperation of the relevant authorities and BLS management for their efforts in operationalising the facility and reaffirmed the UAE mission’s continued commitment to strengthening people-to-people ties between the two brotherly countries.

The ambassador, who assumed office late last year, has been taking steps to further enhance the close ties between the two brotherly countries for the betterment of the people of the host country.
