A fire broke out at a warehouse near Lea Market on Friday, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Upon receiving information about the blaze, police and rescue volunteers rushed to the scene. A spokesperson for Rescue 1122 said the Central Command and Control Centre immediately dispatched fire and rescue teams, ambulances, and fire brigade vehicles to the site.
Fire brigade officials stated that the fire erupted at a rickshaw warehouse and a motorcycle parking area, while several pushcarts also caught fire. Firefighters carried out a timely operation and brought the blaze under control.
According to rescue authorities, two fire tenders from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and Rescue 1122 took part in the operation. No casualties were reported. The cause of the fire could not be immediately determined, and further investigation was underway.
