PESHAWAR: The Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar on Monday conducted the Makeup Centralised Admission Test (CAT) for admissions in Allied Health Sciences, Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and BS Nursing programmes.
The test was held simultaneously at 12 centres across the province, with a total of 2,374 candidates appearing. Of these, 1,427 were male students and 947 were female students.The makeup test was specially arranged for candidates who were unable to appear in the previously conducted test due to unavoidable circumstances or technical issues.
The primary objective was to ensure equal and fair opportunities for all eligible applicants.The test was conducted concurrently at KMU Institute of Medical Sciences (Kohat); Nowshera Medical College, Nowshera; Pak-Swiss Nursing Institute, Swat; Saidu Medical College, Swat; Women Medical College, Abbottabad; Abbottabad International Medical College, Abbottabad; Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan; Gomal Medical College, Dera Ismail Khan; Government College of Nursing, Bannu; KMU Main Campus, Peshawar; KMU Grammar School, Matta (Swat); and KMU Institute of Health Sciences, Kurram/Parachinar.The test results will be available on the official KMU CAT website (http://cat.kmu.edu.pk).
