LAHORE : Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb visited the Ramazan Festival established in Jilani Park and took a detailed review of the prices, quality and availability of food items and issued strict instructions to the officers present on the spot. Senior Minister said that this festival has been organised on the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to provide special Ramazan relief to the low-income group, where more than 20 percent discount offers of renowned brands are being given.

The Ramazan Festival was completely based on the public-private partnership sponsorship and voluntary discount model and not a single rupee was spent from the government treasury on its establishment. More than 165 stalls were active in the festival, where quality food items and daily necessities are available.

Ramazan festivals are providing relief to the public across Punjab, special gifts, stalls and family-friendly activities have been organised for children and special children.

For the convenience and safety of the public, complete arrangements have been made for Rescue 1122, waste management, clinic on wheels and security to provide a safe, clean and orderly environment to the citizens.

The minister said that Maryam Nawaz is following the agenda of public service and relief with full seriousness and transparency, and is grateful for the full cooperation of industry stakeholders and renowned brands.
