LAHORE: The equestrian season in Lahore continues to gallop forward with the launch of the prestigious Diamond Paints Polo Cup, a high-handicap 10-goal PPA event.
Five elite teams of the country will be competing for the coveted trophy. These teams are Master Paints, Diamond Paints, Team Balochistan, BN Polo and FG Polo. Each team features top local and international handicap players, ensuring that spectators will witness polo at its highest competitive level.
Being organised under the supervision of Major (retd) Adil Rao, Secretary JPF, and sponsored by Diamond Paints, the tournament brings together some of the finest polo talent in Pakistan. The opening matches will be played on Wednesday (February 11) while the final is set for Sunday, February 14.
According to officials, the Diamond Paints Polo Cup is more than just a tournament—it is a celebration of Lahore’s equestrian heritage and a showcase of Pakistan’s growing prominence in the global polo circuit. As the matches unfold, the Jinnah Polo Fields will once again serve as the beating heart of the sport, drawing enthusiasts and players alike into the thrill of the game.
