ALPURI: Snowfall resumed in Shangla and adjoining northern areas, along the Karakoram Highway and other mountainous ranges on Friday.
Intermittent rainfall continued in Alpuri, the district headquarters of Shangla, and other areas, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures. Residents were confined to homes due to persistent cold wave in upper regions.
Since Friday morning, light rain followed by heavy downpours was reported in Shangla, its surrounding areas and along the Karakoram Highway.A light snowfall continued in the upper mountainous ranges of Shangla. The intensity of cold increased significantly.
