MARDAN: Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice SM Attique Shah on Saturday visited the District Courts, Mardan.
He was accompanied by Justice Faheem Wali.
The chief justice was received by the District and Sessions Judge, Mardan, senior officers of the district administration, police, prosecution, and representatives of the District Bar Association, Mardan. During the visit, he performed the ground-breaking ceremony of new court facilities at Khazana premises, inaugurated the District Bar Association Library, inspected the Malkhana and Summons/Warrants Cell, and held meetings with judicial officers and senior district officials.
Addressing members of the District Bar Association, the chief justice emphasized the constitutional mandate of inexpensive, expeditious, and effective justice, highlighting the role of district judiciary, bar, prosecution, and administration in strengthening public confidence in the justice system.
