MARDAN: A grand exhibition of students’ creative works was organised by the Pakhtunkhwa College of Arts of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan.
The exhibition showcased artworks created by students from the fields of textile designing, interior designing, fashion designing and photography. Mardan Commissioner Javed Khan Marwat was the chief guest on the occasion, while Women University, Mardan, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Razia Sultana and District Police Officer (DPO), Mardan, Masood Khan Bangash attended the event.
Pakhtunkhwa College of Arts Principal Fazal Sattar, Director AURC Dr Tariq Mahmood and Director Administration Farhad Safi welcomed the guests. The distinguished guests took a keen interest in the exhibition and appreciated the creative work of the students.
Commissioner Javed Marwat praised the artwork of the students and said that the creative abilities of the youth were commendable and such activities played an important role in the professional training of the students.
On this occasion, Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Jamil Ahmad distributed commemorative shields among the guests, while a tree plantation was also carried out along with the university administration.
