The Investigation Police of District Keamari on Wednesday solved a blind murder case and arrested the suspect involved. According to SSP Investigation Keamari Tauheed Rehman Memon, the body of a security guard, identified as Ali, was found last month at a timber warehouse in the Baldia area. The 61-year-old watchman had been brutally murdered after being struck repeatedly on the head and face.
A case was registered at the Baldia Town police station against unknown suspects. The Keamari investigation police later carried out a technically sound operation, using both technical surveillance and human intelligence, which led to the arrest of the accused and the resolution of the case.
The arrested suspect was identified as Rafiq alias Dada. Memon said initial investigations revealed that the motive behind the murder was resistance offered by the victim during an attempted theft.
