LAHORE: The PIA, for the convenience of its passengers traveling to Toronto and destinations in the United Kingdom, has made special arrangements to provide access to rail facilities, the PIA spokesman said on Tuesday.
The PIA has launched an “Air-to-Rail” partnership with renowned rail services in Canada and the UK, providing passengers with extensive travel facilities. Under the agreement, PIA passengers can now, after their air travel, reach their final destination by train on a single ticket without the hassle of booking separately. Passengers arriving in Toronto on the PIA can connect to eight major cities in Canada through the airline’s partner rail service.
Similarly, passengers traveling to London and Manchester can access over 50 cities across the UK by train. The booking process has been made easy for passengers who can also book their rail tickets for their destination through the PIA’s booking offices, PIA registered travel agents, the airline’s official website and mobile app. PIA passengers will now be able to book their rail tickets along with air tickets to reach their final destination via rail, saving time and effort in booking trains separately, the PIA spokesman concluded.
