Promotion of Grade-17 officers approved OMG cases deferred

ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to consider the promotion of officers from Grade 17 to Grade 18 under the federal government was held at the Establishment Division on Tuesday. In the absence of Secretary Establishment Division, the meeting was chaired by Special Secretary Establishment Division Sara Saeed.

According to official sources, the meeting reviewed cases related to the promotion of officers belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service and Police Service of Pakistan from Grade 17 to Grade 18.

The Departmental Promotion Committee approved the promotion cases of officers from both the Police Service of Pakistan and Pakistan Administrative Service. However, the cases concerning the promotion of officers from the Office Management Group were postponed.

According to the Establishment Division, the promotion cases of officers of Office Management Group will be taken up and considered in the next meeting.
