LAHORE:Acknowledging the sustained and robust performance of Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Punjab, the government has launched a comprehensive initiative to strengthen the department’s infrastructure.
In this regard, construction of a new two-storey building for the offices of Excise and Taxation Region-B has commenced at Arazi Centre, Raiwind Road.
Excise, Taxation and Anti-Narcotics Secretary Muhammad Masood Mukhtar and other officers on Tuesday inaugurated the project by laying the foundation stone. Speaking on the occasion, Masood Mukhtar said that the department contributes billions of rupees annually to the national exchequer with complete transparency.
