LAHORE: Punjab Horticulture Authority Additional Director General Mirza Waleed Baig reviewed ongoing horticulture operations across major cities in a meeting with district agency managing directors.

During the Zoom session, heads of Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala agencies presented updates on plantation drives, park and green belt maintenance, nursery operations, and upkeep of public recreational spaces. Baig outlined special preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr under the guidance of Director General Raja Mansoor Ahmad, including seasonal flower planting, landscaping of major roads, tree pruning, fountain repairs, and improved cleanliness in parks and public areas. He instructed district teams to complete assigned tasks on time, maintain close monitoring of works, submit regular progress reports, and strengthen coordination to ensure uniform horticulture standards across the province.
