CHARSADDA: The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA), Charsadda, has registered a case against 15 persons for operating an illegal vegetable market on land owned by the sugar mills.
The case was registered on the complaint of Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Naveed Khan on charges of interfering in official duties and continuing activities at the illegal vegetable market.According to details, despite an official ban, activities at the vegetable market established on sugar mills land were ongoing, prompting the authorities to take action.
As a result, a case was registered against 15 commission agents for interference in official work.The police said that an operation was underway against the illegal vegetable market in the presence of the assistant commissioner and the TMO when several persons not only disrupted the operation but also forcibly reopened routes that had been sealed by the administration. Following the incident, a case of interference in government affairs was registered against 15 persons on the complaint of TMO.
