LAKKI MARWAT: A gas valve assembly was damaged in an attack by terrorists in the Bhana Manjiwala area of Lakki Marwat district, police said on Friday.
A police official said that the incident occurred late Thursday night, within the limits of Lakki City Police Station. He said that the terrorists opened fire on the gas infrastructure in the rural locality along the Manjiwala link road, damaging it severely.
He said that police immediately reached the area and launched a search for the attackers. “Security around the important installations was beefed up to avert any such incident in future”, he added.
