ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sealed two chutes of a sugar mill due to violations of Track and Trace System (TTS).
According to FBR announcement issued Tuesday, as part of its zero-tolerance policy against tax evasion in sugar sector, FBR has continued strict enforcement actions against sugar mills found violating Track and Trace System and FBR’s electronic monitoring system.
On January 5 (Monday), FBR staff stationed at a sugar mill in Samundri, Faisalabad, sealed two chutes due to violations of Track and Trace System. Similarly, on Tuesday, another sugar mill in Lalian, Chiniot, was sealed for violations of FBR’s electronic monitoring system.
