ISLAMABAD: Aqeel Khan got off to a winning start in the 11th Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Championships 2025 at PTF Tennis Complex on Friday.
The ace Pakistan player beat Talha Khan 7-5, 6-4 to move into the second round of the men’s singles. All other leading players make it to the second round with ease. Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, while sharing his views, stated that the tournament holds great emotional value for him and his family, as it revives fond memories of his late mother. He wished success to all participating players.
Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President PTF, and Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail, Secretary General PTF, extended their best wishes to the players and organisers. The event is sponsored by the Saif Group of Companies (Kulsum International Hospital, Saif Energy Limited, Transworld) and Parco as well.
