LAHORE : Provincial Minister for Housing Punjab Bilal Yasin on Wednesday visited the construction site of underground plaza at Taxali Road to review progress of the project.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin said thatthe underground plaza, comprising shops and parking facilities, is being constructed on 22 kanals of land and is scheduled for completion by January 2027. “Within a short period of 14 months, a spacious parking facility along with a beautifully landscaped garden will be available in an area facing severe traffic pressure”.
He said the project would prove to be a significant milestone in enhancing the beauty of inner Lahore. A total of 639 shops will be constructed on two levels, while the lower two levels will be reserved for car and motorcycle parking.
