PESHAWAR: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office-bearers of the Pakistan Pharmacists Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter for the 2025-27 term was held at the Directorate of Drug Control and Pharmacy Services.
Director General Drug Control and Pharmacy Services Dr Abbas Khan administered the oath to the office-bearers and members of the association.
Senior members of the pharmacist fraternity, including Vice Chancellor Buner University Dr Jamshid, Head of the Pharmacy Department University of Peshawar Dr Fazli Nasir, Secretary Pharmacy Council and Director PQCB Ibrahim, Chief Drug Inspector Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zakir Shah, Assistant Director Drug Control Hamid Khattak, and founding and core committee member of the Young Pharmacists Council Syed Abid Zia attended the ceremony.
Dr Jamshid and Dr Fazli Nasir underscored the importance of strengthening Pakistan Pharmacists Association as the lawful representative body of pharmacists and stressed the need for unity and collective efforts to achieve the association’s objectives.
Dr Abbas Khan and Ibrahim assured their full professional guidance and cooperation to support the association, reaffirming their commitment to the growth and betterment of the pharmacy profession in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
