RAHIM YAR KHAN: Police and Rangers, during a joint operation against criminal gangs operating in the Kacha areas of Rahim Yar Khan, recovered the bodies of two persons who had been kidnapped for ransom about one and a half months ago.

After the completion of all required legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the respective heirs for burial. According to available details, the joint operation was carried out yesterday in the Kacha Karachi and Kacha Rajwani areas, which are considered sensitive riverine belts and hideouts for criminals.

During an extensive search operation in the area, law enforcement agencies recovered the bodies of Riaz Ahmed, a resident of Basti Sarahi, Bhutta Wahan, and Muhammad Omar, a resident of Kot Abdullah.

Both had been abducted by kidnappers approximately one and a half months earlier, and a case of kidnapping for ransom had been registered at Saddar Sadiqabad police station soon after their disappearance. Despite continuous efforts and repeated search operations by police and other law enforcement agencies, the victims could not be recovered alive.
