LAHORE:Sabzazar police arrested two men for harassing and threatening to kidnap a private college student.
According to police, the student, a resident of Awan Town, was on her way to college when the suspects followed her, shouted remarks, and demanded her phone number. When she refused, they allegedly threatened her with abduction and grabbed her hand.
The suspects identified as Saad and Ghulam Farid attempted to flee after the student raised an alarm but were apprehended by police. A case has been registered on the complaint of student’s father. Meanwhile, Ichhra police arrested a man for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl. The victim went to the house of her neighbour for playing when the accused identified as Farooq raped her.
