LAHORE:Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with police personnel and their families at the Central Police Office Lahore to hear their concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
During the meeting, he issued directives to the concerned officers for immediate action on multiple requests. He instructed the Additional IG Welfare & Finance to provide relief regarding the request to declare Constable Mehmood Ahmad a Ghazi. Orders were also issued to AIG Discipline for the reinstatement of former Head Constables KashifJaved and Sajid, as well as for the pardon of punishment for Constable Shafqat Ali. Dr. Anwar further directed the concerned authorities to address other matters related to discipline, administration, promotions, and welfare, emphasizing timely and transparent action to support police personnel and their families.
