LAHORE:Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has taken strict notice of the incident in which a young singer, Rehman Ali, was subjected to violence allegedly by police personnel in Mianwali. Azma Bokhari stated that she has watched the video circulating on social media, which shows police officials assaulting a young artiste. She termed the incident deeply unfortunate, condemnable, and unacceptable.
She made it clear that an immediate and transparent investigation will be conducted, and if negligence or abuse of authority by any official is proven, strict action will be taken against those responsible in accordance with the law.
