LAHORE:Postgraduate Medical Institute has announced holding ‘PGMI M-Con 2025’, a two-day medical conference aimed at promoting excellence in medical education and research. The conference will start on December 17 (Wednesday). The theme of the conference is ‘Pursuit of Excellence: Strengthening Research & Medical Education for the next generation.’ The event is designed to enhance the quality of medical research and education by aligning them with evolving global standards and preparing future physicians through research-oriented learning.

Ameer-ud-Din Medical College (AMC) Principal Prof Dr Farooq Afzal stated that PGMI M-Con 2025 would bring together leading medical experts, senior faculty members, researchers, scholars, young doctors and medical students. He added that various scientific sessions would focus on contemporary medical research, emerging trends in medical education, improved patient care and advancements in medical technologies.

He said that the conference would serve as an effective academic platform for young doctors, researchers and medical students to exchange ideas, share experiences and learn about modern research trends.

He emphasised that the event aims to practically strengthen research culture and improve standards within the medical sector. He reiterated PGMI’s strong commitment to promoting research-based medical education, noting that such conferences play a vital role in the professional development of future healthcare professionals and in achieving high standards in medical education.
