ISLAMABAD: Sohail Al-Zarooni, philanthropist and Chairman of the Al-Zarooni Group of Companies (UAE), met Friday with Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, at his residence.
The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, including opportunities for collaboration in philanthropy, economic development, and initiatives aimed at strengthening people-to-people ties between the UAE and Pakistan.
Both leaders emphasised the importance of fostering cooperative efforts that contribute to social welfare, investment, and long-term regional partnership, said a Senate Secretariat statement issued here.
Al-Zarooni expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance bilateral goodwill.
Gilani commended Al-Zarooni’s longstanding humanitarian contributions and highlighted the potential for meaningful cooperation.
