QUETTA: Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Mulakhail Monday took oath as the Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court (BHC). The oath-taking ceremony took place at the Governor House here.

Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail administered the oath of office to Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan. The ceremony was attended by High Court judges Justice Iqbal Ahmed Kasi, Justice Shaukat Ali Rakhshani, Justice Gul Hassan Tareen, Justice Muhammad Aamir Nawaz Rana, Justice Sardar Ahmed Haleemi, Justice Muhammad Ayub Khan, and Justice Najam Ud-Din Mengal.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Tahir, judges of subordinate courts, former chief justices, former governors, members of Balochistan Bar Council, and office-bearers of Balochistan High Court Bar Association and Quetta Bar Association, along with a large number of lawyers, political figures, and tribal elders also attended the ceremony. Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Mulakhail was earlier performing as the Acting CJ of BHC.
