MINGORA: Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North head, Inayatullah Khan, has said that Al-Khidmat Foundation has always stood by the people in difficult times. He was addressing a gathering at Wadudia Hall in Saidu Sharif where certificates were distributed among 1,000 volunteers in connection with International Volunteer Day.
The JI leader warned that the region was increasingly vulnerable due to climate change and the government’s flawed policies, but assured that the party would not abandon the youth and would continue launching initiatives similar to the Bano Qabil programme. “The Jamaat-e-Islami aims to provide a strong platform for youth to face future challenges,” he said.
The ceremony was attended by JI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North General Secretary Muhammad Haleem Bacha, District Ameer Hameed-ul-Haq, Al-Khidmat Foundation KP North President Fazal Mahmood, General Secretary Dr. Khalid Farooq, District President Ziaullah, Akhtar Ali Khanji, Haider Ali Khan, and other local leaders.
Inayatullah Khan said that ongoing instability and uncertainty have left the youth unemployed, while corrupt rulers remain busy in corruption instead of governance. He stressed that Malakand Division is currently among the regions most exposed to climate-related threats, but Jamaat-e-Islami and Al-Khidmat Foundation will continue guiding and mobilising young people during such challenges.
