Students whose schools were destroyed or closed by this summer’s floods are still waiting for them to reopen. Unfortunately, the government is not participating actively in this process. The current situation clearly shows that school recovery has not been the priority.
If the schools are not rebuilt urgently an entire generation will be at risk. Education should not be delayed further. The children of Pakistan deserve better.
