BANNU: The Insaf Students Federation (ISF) on Wednesday organized a solemn ceremony at the Bannu Press Club to commemorate the November 26 Islamabad D-Chowk incident.
Other speakers urged the government to conduct a transparent investigation into the incident and fix responsibility, stating that justice was essential for lasting peace. The event was attended by students, civil society members and political workers.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regional General Secretary Malik Adnan Khan, ISF Divisional President Nazir Zaman, District President Nadeem Khan and others addressed the gathering.
Speakers said the 26 November incident remained a tragic chapter in the country’s political history and the sacrifices of the youth could never be forgotten.Paying tribute to those who lost their lives, they said the youth were a national asset and their rights must continue to be upheld.
