ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has ordered further changes to the nominations of federal and provincial officers, selected for the mandatory Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC), required for promotion from Grade 18 to 19.
According to an official letter, sent to the Rector of the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore, the nominations of 15 officers from various services have been withdrawn. These include five officers of the Police Service of Pakistan: SP Muhammad Shoaib Masood and Shahzada Kokab Farooq, SP Security Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Usman Tipu, SP Sajawal (Sindh) Abdul Khaliq, and SP Special Security Unit Karachi Ms Farah Ambareen.
The nominations of five Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) officers have also been cancelled. They include Secretary Punjab Workers Welfare Fund Board Mujtaba Arafat Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Shoaib Butt, Deputy Secretary Irrigation Punjab Ms Jaweria Maqbool, Deputy Secretary Labour Punjab Ms Anum Zaib, and Deputy Director General CDA Ms Amber Gilani.
Similarly, nominations of three officers from the Office Management Group — Rustam Khan, Iqra Anam and Junaid Alam — have been withdrawn. Two officers of the Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service have also been removed from the list: Deputy Controller, Office of the CLA (Defence Services) Lahore, Faizan Waheed, and Deputy Director, DG Audit P&R Lahore, Faiq Ahmed.
Meanwhile, eight new officers have been nominated for the course. These include five PAS officers: Shehzad Mahboob (posted in KP), ADCG Revenue Sahiwal Captain (retd) Usama Majeed Cheema, ADCG Revenue Bahawalpur Captain (retd) Tayyab Sami Khan, ADCG Flight Lieutenant (retd) Fahad Mahmood, and Deputy Secretary Finance Punjab Muhammad Usman Ali. Three officers from the Balochistan government — Jamshed Khan Bugti, Zaheer Sattar and Abdul Qayyum — have also been nominated.
The 45th Mid-Career Management Course will be held from November 17, 2025, to January 23, 2026.
