PESHAWAR: Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court SM Attique Shah on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of 74 judicial officers across the province, including 10 district and sessions judges and eight senior civil judges, while four district and sessions judges were made Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) for future postings.
According to separate notifications issued by the PHC Registrar, District and Sessions Judges Naseem Akbar (South Waziristan), Farid Khan Alizai (Upper Kohistan), Ajmal Khan Wazir (Lower Dir), and Samira Wali (Buner) were made OSDs at the PHC.
Other transfers included Arshad Ahmed Khan, from Consumer Court in DI Khan to Consumer Court Swat; Zainab Rehman, from Consumer Court in Bannu to Consumer Court in Nowshera; Ali Gohar, from Accountability Peshawar to South Waziristan; Sadia Andleeb, from Consumer Court in Swat to Consumer Court in Kohat; Shakarullah Khan, from Consumer Court Nowshera to Lower Dir and Naveed ur Rehman, from Upper Chitral to Buner.
Transfers of senior civil judges included Arshad Ali, from Upper Chitral to Peshawar; Hamid Kamal, from Peshawar to Lower Chitral; Syed Mansoor Shah Bukhari, from Judicial Academy to North Waziristan; Aftab Javed, from Mansehra to Karak; Ghulam Hamid, from Karak to Upper Chitral; Farman Ali, from Lower Chitral to Buner; Amna Haider, from Bannu to Buner and Samiullah Khan, from North Waziristan to Mansehra.
Several civil judges were also transferred across districts, including Peshawar, Swat, Nowshera, Kohat, DI Khan, Mansehra, Charsadda, Abbottabad, and others as part of the routine reshuffle in the provincial judiciary.
