ISLAMABAD: The federal government has implemented several significant appointments and transfers within the bureaucracy, affecting officers across multiple divisions and provincial administrations.
Ahmed Nasir Aziz, a Grade 20 officer of the Police Service currently posted in the Intelligence Bureau (IB), has been transferred to the Government of Punjab. Similarly, Deputy Secretary Planning Division Muhammad Shakeel has been relocated, with his services handed over to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In another development, orders have been issued for the retirement of Deputy Secretary Establishment Division Muhammad Amir upon reaching the age of 60 years, effective 8 March 2026.
Furthermore, Naseem Hussain, previously serving as Information Officer at the Pakistan Agriculture Research Council under the Intellectual Property Organisation, has been appointed as Assistant Director at the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) within the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. His posting in New Tech, Islamabad, will continue until 4 June 2028, or until a permanent officer assumes the position.
These changes reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functions and ensure effective deployment of senior civil servants across federal and provincial jurisdictions.
