ISLAMABAD: Several appointments and transfers have been announced in the federal bureaucracy, alongside the resignation of Afzal Latif, a Member of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC). According to a notification from the Establishment Division, the resignation of Afzal Latif, a retired BS-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service and FPSC Member, has been accepted with effect from August 31, following approval from the President.

Meanwhile, Aamir Mohiuddin’s additional charge as Secretary of the National Food Security Division has been extended for three months, effective from October 15. He currently serves as Additional Secretary in the same division. Ijaz Ghani (BS-21) has been directed to report to the Establishment Division after being relieved from the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA). Azmat Hussain Khan, previously Joint Secretary in the Finance Division, has been appointed Officer on Special Duty (OSD), with his services placed at the disposal of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) on an attachment basis.

Shehzad Ahmed, Joint Secretary in the Industries and Production Division, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary in the Defence Division. Nabeel Ahmed Memon (BS-18, PAS), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on deputation.
