Feedback
Hi Ed!
Hope you are fine and well. I loved this week’s magazine (1 May), especially the poetry section. Amna Ameer and Zahra Zafar are my favourite poets. Whenever I see their names in ‘Poets’ Corner’, I know I am in for a good read. I would love to buy a compilation of their poetry one day in the form of a book. ‘The art of noticing’ by Umaima Hoorain was interesting too and made me realise how valuable being an observant person can be. ‘‘Things they never mention about adulthood’ by Zahra Zafar was so melancholic and deep. It's interesting when you read something and can immediately tell that prose has been written by a poet. I have noticed the same thing in Amna Ameer’s writings too. Lastly, I would like to send my stories to the magazine as well. Could you please tell me if there are any guidelines I should follow?

Dear Editor,
Through Us magazine, I would like to highlight the growing shortage of public libraries in our communities. Pakistan’s population continues to increase, so the demand for educational spaces, books and Internet access is also rising. According to reports published in national newspapers, Pakistan has one of the lowest public library ratios in South Asia. In many areas, there is hardly one functional library serving thousands of people. This shortage directly affects students, particularly those who lack access to books, research material and digital resources. Many students also rely on libraries for Internet access because they cannot afford laptops or mobile data at home. The government should establish more libraries in schools, colleges and public spaces, especially in underdeveloped areas such as Turbat and other parts of Balochistan. Investing in libraries means investing in the future of our nation.
