Witnessing a paradigm shift

LAAM Fashion Week to return for a second edition

LAAM Fashion Week (LFW) will return to Lahore for its second edition in October 2026, with registrations now open for designers, fashion brands, retail labels, manufacturing companies and emerging creative talent from across Pakistan.

Co-created by LAAM and Design651, the platform was launched as Pakistan’s first runway-to-e-tail fashion week, pairing traditional runway presentations with immediate online retail access through LAAM’s digital marketplace.

The initiative brings together a broad cross-section of the fashion world, from high-street and pret labels to manufacturing brands, luxury houses, couture ateliers and bridal designers. Its focus remains on making fashion more commercially accessible while giving brands direct access from the runway to consumers.

The announcement comes on the heels of a successful inaugural edition, which showcased collections from more than 37 designers and brands while generating significant digital engagement. According to organisers, the event reached over 1 billion users globally and attracted more than 10 million livestream views across more than 100 countries, making it one of the most widely viewed Pakistani fashion events to date. The collections presented during the event were later accessed by more than 15 million users worldwide.

The fashion week is part of LAAM’s larger digital ecosystem, which the company says now serves six million monthly active users and includes over 4,000 registered sellers, with customers spread across more than 7,800 cities on four continents. This year’s edition will once again follow the runway-to-e-tail format, allowing participating brands to make their collections available for purchase as soon as they are unveiled.

LAAM co-founder and CEO Arif Iqbal said the platform was created to make Pakistani fashion “more accessible, measurable and globally connected.” According to him, the second edition will continue building on that vision by bringing creativity, commerce and technology closer together while expanding the industry’s international footprint.

Co-founder and COO Amir Iqbal said the success of the first edition “demonstrated how designers were able to reach new audiences, engage customers directly and see their collections move from the runway into real commercial opportunity.” He added that this year’s event would place even greater emphasis on creating a more structured platform with stronger commercial outcomes.

Saad Ali, founder of Design651 and CEO of the Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC), said, “LFW had always been envisioned as a platform that could bring structure, credibility and creative excellence to the way Pakistani fashion is presented.”

As Pakistani fashion continues to expand its presence beyond local markets, initiatives such as LAAM Fashion Week reflect the industry’s growing emphasis on an understanding of technology to give Pakistani fashion a wider international profile.
