QUETTA: Six workers of a private gas company were kidnapped by armed men in the Zargon Ghar area of Harnai district, police said on Tuesday.
According to police officials, the incident took place in the Shahrag tehsil’s Shaban area of Zargon Ghar, where unidentified armed men abducted six labourers working at a local gas site and took them to an unknown location.
Police said all the kidnapped workers are local residents of Zargon Ghar and belong to the Dumar tribe. Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the kidnappers and recover the workers.
