ISLAMABAD: Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for his continuous non-appearance in a case of making misleading allegations against state institutions and tarnishing their reputation.

Despite being summoned for Monday, Afridi did not appear in court, upon which the court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant and ordered to arrest and produce him. The court adjourned the hearing till July 9. The NCCIA had registered a case against Afridi under the Peca Act.
