PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has announced the schedule for summer and winter vacations for the subordinate judiciary across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the notification, issued on Monday, the courts of senior civil judges and civil judges throughout the province will remain closed for summer vacations from August 1 to 31. However, in the colder regions of the province, including Upper Chitral, Lower Chitral, Upper Dir, Shangla, Battagram, Kurram, and the tehsils of Khwaza Khela, Bahrain, and Kalam, summer vacations will not be observed. Instead, these areas will have winter vacations from January 1 to January 31, 2027. The PHC stated that arrangements have been made to ensure uninterrupted access to justice during the vacation period.
