Islamabad: Eminent educationist, social scientist, humour therapist, poet, intellectual and writer Dr. Inam-ul-Haq Javed has resigned from the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat. He had been serving there for the past six years as Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis and Media Advisor, says a press release.
Dr. Inam-ul-Haq Javed is regarded among the country’s prominent academic, literary and administrative personalities. He is the author, compiler and translator of 74 books and has played an active role for several decades in the fields of education, literature, communication and social sciences.
During his long professional career, he has held senior administrative positions in several important national institutions. Earlier, he served as Managing Director of the National Book Foundation, Chairman of the Federal Textbook Board, Chairman of the Pakistan Academy of Letters, Dean at Allama Iqbal Open University and Vice Chancellor of Al-Khair University.
