Pak pair in final of Asian Doubles Squash

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal stormed into the final of the 3rd Asian Doubles Squash Championships underway in Sarawak, Malaysia, after registering a convincing straight-games victory in the semifinals.

The Pakistani duo outclassed Malaysia’s Ameeshenraj Chandaran and Joachim Chuah 2-0, winning 11-8, 11-5 in a match that lasted just 25 minutes. Noor and Nasir displayed excellent coordination and attacking play to dominate the hosts and secure their place in the title clash.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s other pair, Muhammad Hamza Khan and Muhammad Asim Khan, finished fifth in the championship after competing in the playoff matches.
