LAHORE: A farewell ceremony was held in honour of Inspector Aqeel Javed Butt, the weightlifting team manager of the Pakistan Police Sports Board, following his retirement from the Punjab Police Department.
According to the Punjab Police Spokesperson, the dignified event was attended by Aqeel Butt’s family members, senior police officers and athletes, who gathered to pay tribute to his decades of service.
Chief Sports Officer DIG Athar Ismail Amjad was the guest of honour at the ceremony.
Senior Police Officers congratulated Aqeel Butt on the successful completion of his 40-year service tenure and expressed their best wishes for his future life.
