CHUNIAN: Kanganpur police conducted an operation under the supervision of SHO Kamran Shehzad and arrested a woman allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
According to the police, accused Mehran Bibi, a resident of Burj Shahbaz, was arrested red-handed during the operation. More than one kilogram of heroin was recovered from her possession.
The police said the arrested suspect had been allegedly involved in selling drugs in Kanganpur and surrounding areas for a long period. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
